1. What is Qala Jaipur?
    Qala Jaipur is a made-to-order clothing label from Jaipur, India, founded in 2025 by fashion designer Aditi Srivastava. We make hand block printed, tie-dye and ombre cotton dresses, co-ord sets and tops for women, and shirts for men, and ship free to every country.

  2. Who makes your clothes?
    Every piece is printed, dyed and stitched by artisans in Jaipur and Bagru, Rajasthan, only after you place your order.

  3. What makes Qala Jaipur "Sustainable"?
    We work with pure cotton, traditional hand-block printing and a made-to-order model, so every piece is made only after you order it and nothing is overproduced.

  4. What is the difference between Jaipur and Bagru prints?
    Jaipur prints often feature floral motifs on white or light backgrounds. Bagru print outfits use traditional earth-toned colours and indigo, often with more geometric or bold patterns. Read more in What Is Bagru Block Print?

  5. Do you ship to my country?
    Yes. We ship free to every country, including the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany and the UAE. International orders arrive within 15–20 days after dispatch.

  6. How long will my order take?
    Allow 7 business days for us to make your piece. After dispatch, orders arrive within 5–7 business days in India and 15–20 days internationally. You will receive a tracking link by email or phone.

  7. Will I pay customs duties?
    Any import duties or customs charges levied by your country are payable by the recipient and are not included in the product price.

  8. Can I return my order?
    We offer exchanges only — no returns or refunds — on both domestic and international orders. Raise your request within 7 days of delivery. For a size exchange, shipping both ways is paid by the customer; if your piece arrives damaged or defective, we cover the shipping.

  9. Can I cancel my order?
    Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. Call or WhatsApp +91 9001309075. After that, the fabric is cut for you and the order can no longer be cancelled.

  10. What sizes do you offer?
    Most women's styles come in XS to 3XL, and men's shirts in 38/M to 48/4XL. Check the size chart on each product page. Need a custom fit? Send your measurements on WhatsApp at +91 9001309075 and we will make the piece to your size.

  11. Can I request a custom color?

  12. Are the colors exactly as seen on screen?
    Since our products are handcrafted clothing, minor variations in color and print are expected. These are marks of authenticity, not defects.

  13. How do I care for my block printed clothes?
    We recommend dry cleaning for the first wash. Subsequently, gentle hand washing in cold water with mild detergent will preserve the vibrancy. See our care guide.

  14. Does indigo bleed?
    Deep indigo and other dark shades may rub off slightly on skin or light surfaces at first. This stops after a few wears and washes.

  15. Are your fabrics sheer?
    We use high-grade, premium densities. While some summer fabrics are lightweight for breathability, they maintain the opacity expected of luxury wear.
